We have no reason to believe she can and several to believe she can't.

Or you wouldn't want to deal with all the screaming Toph fans when their delusions of her being invincible are dashed.

This series isn't the type to go with the cheap "shock" or "because it needs to happen" deaths. I enjoy that. I wouldn't mind if someone died but to just throw it in there just because is lame.

Yes because one person did it that mean everyone does.

Well, no one knew where Toph was but besides that, I doubt Kuvira or anyone considered Toph in her old age to be a big enough threat to keep a guy around specifically to counter her. They actually had Toph herself call that thinking bullshit in so many words and I am so glad they did.

I wasn't disappointed. I was ecstatic. I was so tired of all the people pairing Toph with Haru or the Duke or one of her students from the comics that I'm so glad that it's just some guy we don't know. It's basically the same as it being some minor character. Not everyone pairs up with people they meet when they were

I wish Toph had said both because seeing as she didn't a lot of people are still going to insist Sokka despite how stupid and awful that would be for both characters.

Well, if we're going that route a boy's chances of being gay increasing dramatically the more older brothers he has. Also identical twins are more likely to be gay.

Su Yin style is basically the perfect counter for Lin. And you arbitarily saying she was at 50% at best doesn't do anything to convince me especially since we have no reason to assume Su Yin was going all out. Too close to call really.

Because all the things you described would be very difficult and complex and couldn't be accomplished nearly as easily as you're making it out to be. Especially if there fighting someone skilled as is the case most of the time.

Um, Lin is six years older than Su.

Toph was most likely never married. it always seemed pretty obvious to me that Satoru would be Asami's ancestor somehow.

People keep saying, I'm not seeing. Saying one of them would definitely win either way is an insult to the other. And frankly, Lin has never really done anything that could make me understand people saying that.

That's giving Toph way too much credit.

And Sokka being Su's father would still be stupid and terrible.

Jeez, Mako just can't get a break can he?

Great episode. Toph was cool without overshadowing anyone and now at least we can stop with all the stupid father theories for at least one of her daughters.

How so?

I wouldn't but then again, I didn't think Tenzin whooped him the first time. Was he winning yes, but he didn't kick his ass.

I'm not sure what this would be called but seeing as the swamps were under attack the ones in Republic City acted as if they were under attack too. I'm sure there's a name for that kind of response but I can't think of it.
