Um, the realism is obviously the point here so you can get better invested. What with her taking time to learn to walk, and learning to learn from her enemies and get the rest of the posion out, and confronting her demons. If that didn't work for you that's too bad but it's not a flaw in the story. Did you honestly

They tried it when they first learned Korra was the avatar; and she was four not six.

They wern't "false starts" they were steps. Situations like this aren't usually fixed in one session and good on them for showing that. She has gotten a bit better with each step though and she's finally ready to move on.

Why exactly was Lin even at that meeting? Security? She's not a world leader and is clearly personally invested in the situation.

I liked Kai, but then again I have a soft spots for characters whose hatedom greatly exceed anything they've actually done.

You could apply the same to Mako or Asami. Mako is a guy who can't deal with his feelings so puts on a stoic front and overprotecting his little brother who gradually learns to move beoyond that. Asami is slightly spoiled rich girl who has to deal with her daddy not being as good a guy as she thought and learning to

I said they weren't necessarily deeper characters, but it makes more sense for them to be with Korra than Tenzin or Lin.

Yeah, Tenzin is wise mentor figure with daddy issues and Lin is hardass cop with a softer side. I summed them both up right there. Not that I dislike them, but calling them deeper than Mako and Asami is a stretch, even if I'm willing to admit Mako and Asami aren't that deep either.

Interesting and understandable. He's the president of the United Republic not the Southern Water Tribe.

I can't help but think that's nostalgia talking. I can't see how Lin and Tenzin's history could be more compelling than watching people living their lives and current adventures as they are now. Plus, it would be weird. They're way older than her and have other pressing responsibilities.

This is a delicate situation and they need to treat it as such. The Air Nation is has philisophical reasons for not interfering and the Fire Nation's history would probably complicate things if they just came stomping in.

Yeah I should leave that alone, I already figured out I'm never going to win when it comes to this.

I never thought season 2 was bad in the first place but I agree this season is much better than it.

And frankly, I have a very low tolerance for people who go on and on about how much they think something sucks, without even being funny about it, but never give it up. I'm just going to ignore him now, I've basically been doing that in the first place. (For some reason I couldn't edit my other comment.)

Personally I didn't think it was so bad. But he's like that with all of them.

I've never found anything he said particularly funny and now that I really look at his name and picture (which I've apparently been looking past) I'm annoyed by that as well.

And the rift isn't relevant to this and could lead to potential spoilers. It's rude and out of place no matter how you slice it.

Really? So anytime they interact now it's basically proof of Korrasami? Ugh.

Why are you talkin about the Rift in a Korra review? That just seems rude to me.

You seem to think every episode is bad so what exactly does that mean?
