The strike is great and their motives I agree with, but what’s really needed are laws requiring consent before an AI is allowed to scrape an artists work and use it to generate additional similar work. This is new ground here. We need to decide how it’s to be used.

To be fair, there are millions of people working far more exhausting jobs for far less money. Anybody who has ever worked a service industry job has had to deal with far worse than the average streamer. 

As someone who’s pro streamer, I agree with this comment. This guy hit adulthood as a streamer and has never had to work 40 hours a week to pay rent. I work 40-60 hours a week and that’s just normal for 90% of us.

It is possible that it had a power failure or something along those lines and is actually at the surface, adrift, without radio contact. And — of course — the submersible can’t be opened from the inside, so unless they are found soon, they will run out of oxygen.

Fair enough, though at that point, the launcher seems pretty redundant. If I have to use a launcher, I’d rather it provide some sort of value and Steam provides far more value than any other platform.

Yeah, that’s exactly the experience I was looking for. Emulators were my way for a long long time, and all of them were controller friendly by design, although nothing could manage to make modern controllers truly friendly to the N64 games.
