It’s not 2020 anymore. Cyberpunk is quite good nowadays. Granted it’s not as great as the hype. But Kotaku will have you believe that it’s still the shitty terrible game it was at launch.

Most people who care wouldn’t be able to tell if they turned their fps counters off, either. Largely this trend is driven by folks deriving a sense of satisfaction (& in some cases superiority) of seeing a number climb higher.
I genuinely can’t imagine a person who cares even one bit about Redfall that cares about whether a 60 fps patch comes out or not. Like, there is SO MUCH that needs to be fixed to make that game feel worthwhile and folks care about the framerate? Wild.
I confess, I still can’t tell the difference between 60fps and 30fps. I get that some people care about this, and I hope that their games run at the frame rate they prefer.
“Actor in the Marvel universe has enjoyed being in the Marvel universe, but after 10 years, numerous movies, and a TV series, she’s fine saying goodbye to the character because there’s really not a lot left to do with the character at this point” just doesn’t have the same ring to it, I guess.
Elitist nonsense.
It would have been amusing if there was a comment that Redfall was more financially successful than Hi-Fi Rush which ms saw as a financial failure.
Having completed Redfall in full, and after reading the Schreier piece, I think it best to just bookend it already. Per Schreier, the devs clearly didn’t want to make this game, which leads me to believe that they probably don’t want to “fix” it either. Granted, based on my own experience with Redfall, the game could b…
Yeah, all those examples are vastly different as you mention.
Not to defend Redfall, I don’t really know why they would have included that game on a showcase about upcoming games?
This is just Kotaku trying to be edgly
Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t need “saving”. At this point it’s a pretty great game with most of the issues ironed out, and good solid mod support as well. This will only add to that.
Ask not for whom the bait clicks.
Edgelord alert!
Please show in the copious video available when exactly she was ever threatened.
She did a terrible thing. Instead of apologizing and trying to better herself, she continues to deny her terrible actions. That makes her terrible.
My mom didn’t like many video games, but she liked pinball. Which is why she is the only person in the world who still plays Virtual Boy, because it has pinball.
In the replies to Piscatella’s tweets, many have reacted to the data with anger, skepticism, and shitty jokes.
Out of my family growing up, I think our dad was the only one who *didn’t* play video games, and still doesn’t. My mom was always playing monopoly on Gameboy or SNES, and my sister and I (female) were always fighting over the console RPGs.
I gave my mom my old switch when I upgraded to an OLED. She loves the thing. Plays Picross and Phoenix Wright on it, as well as all the switch online classic stuff with our family plan.
