You’re making far too much speculation from nothing.

I think that disconnection comes from them getting most of their games for free. So it removes them from the Game Pass equation. Like what use is a subscription to you if you own anything anyway.
I could see a business-savvy but games-ignorant corporate guy like Phil Spencer thinking Skyrim powers was somehow a good idea.
I recommend checking out this conversation about how NG+ changes things. Might help you decide on the yay or nay.
In this game you are invincible. I’m not amazing at games (I think I am just about average maybe a little above it), and I have played most of the game on the hardest difficulty. All the perks, literally everything you can upgrade are way more about convenience than anything else. There is almost nothing you cant do…
For anyone who is struggling with getting the powers once you are in the temple, and also playing on console so you’re no modding this bad boy. This is the most fool proof way I have found to do it:
Technically if you are really lucky and fast you can activate the rings in the middle of the room by collecting four…
Fairly certain Clockwork is gonna be a 2025 game. That studio is also still working on Outer Worlds 2 as well.
it seems likely that Microsoft can avoid another quiet year like 2022. Which would be nice, as I like having a reason to pay for Game Pass every month.
Honestly I actually thought it was a cleaner cut division myself until I looked it up yesterday.
You love to see it.
(Unionisation that is, not lay offs).
I have my qualms with the AI vids mainly because there was a way to do it more ethically by commissioning art to train the model rather than just cribbing art from someone famous. But that said I watched a video of a Disney animator reacting to and critiquing it and its was simultaneously more positive, while also…
Unfortunately this is far from the truth. That would be a nice and simple narrative. But the truth is Corridor has created a lot of art over the last couple decades, so they can’t be so easily discounted.
The worst part is that the thumbnail image is of an actor who there is lots of facial data for. In fact for many of the characters in LA Noire this is true. LA Noire is actually the perfect kind of game to have tech like this layered on top, because its not hard to conceive of a real time facial filter looking to…
Lets face it, the hate just comes from boomer type minded people who don’t like progress.
As I understand it, Arkane Austin, is the studio that made Prey. While Arkane Lyon are the Dishonoured 2/Deathloop devs. But from what information is available it seems that work on Dishonoured 1 was shared between the two.
Nah given the age of the model of laptop to me it reads like a pandemic purchase. The company I worked for at that time also did this, laptops were hard to come by because of everyone WFH, and so they ended up bulk buying gaming laptops for everyone.
At the company I was employed at during the pandemic there was a massive shortage of laptops, but we also needed people to WFH. Business style laptops were cheaper and tended to go out of stock first. So we eventually ended up buying loads of gaming laptops for just about everyone.
I am about a couple hundred hours in. If you had asked me at hour ten if I would play the game this long, I would have said never. I would have said the same at 50, maybe even 100 hours too. But despite its very present flaws being more and more visible the longer you play, I don’t know something about it really…
Your complaints read like someone who hasn’t even played the game. I mean I’m sure you have, but it doesn’t read that way.
Significant downgrades are not the same as difficulty developing. In fact there are a few titles with multiple modes that struggle on the X, and gamers have to choose the flavour of dysfunction they want. Meanwhile the S version has a single mode that while downgraded visually, performs more consistently than the X.…
