How many times have airplanes gone down without distress calls, because the pilot was too busy flying the plane/dealing with the accident? The pilot's duty is to fly the plane, not have a chat with ATC.

About the only thing I am pissed about was the Unit 731 whitewash. Other then that what happened during was was tragic but it happened and Japan simply doesnt do these things anymore.
