ATlas story line has been reworked, and there’s a new “main” story so to speak which you’ll receive eventually through your ship comms.

In terms of gameplay, if you like Minecraft style exploration, creating bases, amassing new fleets of starships and assembling your own cruiser with cre and so on, the game has been radically expanded and is far better than at launch.
