This is absolutely the most obvious answer. Pure battery electric people hate the notion. Pure ICE people hate the notion. If you are logical, this is where you invest. Energy density — take your pick — big heavy, slow charging batteries or small, clean, fast filling hybrid.  Complexity certainly takes a jump, however.

Uh.... the same thing would happen if that guy was in a gas powered car.

Or maybe that person just sucks ass at driving? He almost floored the thing while nearly at full lock with a garage 5 yards in front of him and a dropoff 5 yards to the right. Anyone with a brain knows not to do that.

But instead of JUST making some cool electric cars, Porsche is considering a different option: clean-burning synthetic fuel.”

Here’s the thing.  Big tires?  roof racks?  slight lift?  These are the things that are easily and cheaply solved in the aftermarket.  You know what these models NEED and can’t be provided by the aftermarket?  Transmissions that don’t pull power, overheat and die after 50,000 miles when used off-road.

If you drive into an area without 5G the tires will lose connection and the car will stop and tell you unplug and plug the tires back in.

Altima...that’s a car, right? Sounds like a car name.

Yet another McLaren I will see in the wild and go, “hmmm, I have no idea what model that is” which is sad because my GF considers me basically an encyclopedia of cars. Any time she sees something sporty or rare she will ask me what it is, and I almost always know, but with McLarens I just say it is a McLaren because

It’s also found on other sections (The Root, AVClub, etc) as a preview, so just avoiding Jez isn’t enough. Thumbs down to the editors who didn’t see this could be a problem.

Not to mention the first paragraph.

I’m with you. It is disturbing and I wish it wasn’t so prominently displayed.

Maybe I’m being extra sensitive, but the lead photo here is really disturbing to me and giving me some PTSD vibes. I think I’m going to have to avoid Jez for a while here.

Easy fix.

Carrying over the yellow on white motif to the seats and the really bad wood trim wasn’t strictly necessary, however.

I know a lot of folks aren’t going to like the interior swap, but the interior swap is what actually makes this truck liveable. If you wanted to daily this truck, you could. Why? Because old interiors wore you out.

Keep in mind that I’m saying it’s roughly $2,000 to import a crazy cheap Kei van, not just any Kei car.

Cruz: Can we work together?

i’d like to see what your total bill comes out to because i’m having a really hard time believing that i can get a kei car from japan for a $2000 fee.  amazing if that’s the case but sounds too good to be true (aka bullshit).

I sold my bike three months ago. Too many close calls. I’ve hung up my helmet and have moved to a convertible for that “open air feeling”.  This gadget will not convince me to go back to riding.

Given how often I forget a disc lock, I’d trigger these within a day or 2 guaranteed. Plus, there is a 0% chance my buddies wouldn’t pull this at A: the bar or B: a urinal every single chance they got.
