Exactly.

It’s Dolly Parton, it’s a joke, she doesn’t take herself very seriously. This is one of many reasons people should be more like Dolly Parton.

I don’t know if that’s aimed at Dolly specifically and I myself have not listened to the podcast but I’m getting the vibe that after a half century of being married to someone you do get weary of them because that’s being human. I don’t think she’s implying that she hates her marriage and/or is staying married for

Ben’s music in FTL is absolutely incredible. The way the themes transition reminds me of iMUSE from the old Lucas Arts games, or the mixing that the original Deus Ex did for its levels - explore, battle, conversation, and game over.

I bought the vinyl record of this soundtrack a few years ago and it was such a great purchase. It’s a double LP, one LP being dedicated to the chill exploration music and the other to “battle” music. Love the soundtrack, still never actually beaten the game...

It seems like one of those cars we see that’s a great example of a worthless car.

I actually run a K-car page on FB. I’ve had way more K-cars than anyone should have had in a single lifetime. This car is $2500 at best. Maybe $3500 could be wrested from some poor soul, but this is a $2500 Reliant.

I just love seeing the tools and skills at work in an undertaking like this. So many different people who are experts in their craft coming together to perform open heart surgery on an engineering marvel. It’s just really cool.

Back in the day, 1972, I served on a U.S. Navy destroyer that had to have a reduction gear removed and replaced though a large hole cut into the main deck. That was a big deal, cutting a hole this large in the side of the hull is much more of a challenge. Much has changed in the last half century, but I am sure that

Mmm this is good content

Take baking soda and bake it. Then you have washing soda

How is that better than using a wire brush to get the flaking stuff off a frame, and then painting it with something like Rustoleum?

Now I just need a bucket large enough to submerge my entire car.

I don’t think anyone who comes around here would. Just noting the striking similarity in the body and character lines. The original post was a bit of a joke because when the CT5 came out, we all commented about how it looked like Cadillac “stole” the Accords C pillar design. Now the Civic debuts and looks like it’s

While the window line is very similar, Cadillac is the knockoff here, this is most heavily inspired by the Accord, which was introduced a full two years before the CT5. It’s a fairly evolutionary design which is mostly borrowing from themselves.

This looks like it’s aimed more at the U.S. market and will be built there, it’s much more toned down than it’s previous Euro, U.K. built Civics which will no longer be built in the U.K. after Honda closes it’s Swindon factory early next year, ending what will be 27 years of Honda Civic production. It being a saloon

I don’t know many 18 - 24 year-olds who buy brand new $25 k cars.

I was never a Lewis fan, but damn, has he matured into an intelligent, well-rounded driver who is truly deserving of the GOAT moniker.

I’d say it’s been a very long time since he’s done anything to warrant the title “Insufferable prick”. Maybe five years ago, but recently he’s been pretty level headed, aside from complaining about his tires, which he does pretty frequently.

Spot on. Lewis is the GOAT. On and off the track. He never got into dirty tactics like Schumi either.
