How the hell can Monster Hunter combat be dumbed down? Don’t get me wrong, I love the intricacies of it but it really is a simple attack, dodge, attack, dodge, repeat process.

So far the series looks like it’s going back to it’s roots with World. After MHFU2 the series started snowballing into some sort fast paced J-Action-Rpg akin to Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden. I’m glad that Capcom is embracing hardware that can reset the series on the track it originally intended to proceed.

That is a statement sure to ruffle the feathers of veteran Monster Hunter fans.

Isn’t PS4 getting that kickass new DBZ fighter by Arc System Works? Or is that not associated with Sony’s E3 reveal?

I hesitate to call Let Us Cling Together the “inspiration” to FF Tactics, as they were designed by mostly the same team and the same director. Was more of a predecessor.

I’ll start by stating that I do enjoy Smash 4 and that I play it regularly at a non-casual level. But the idea that Melee has only endured because Brawl had tripping, or that nostalgia is a deciding factor are so far from the truth.

Wizards really needs to tweak Planes walkers in general. They’re meant to represent another player, and for all purposes do; yet they also qualify as a fielded permanent.

It was incredibly inefficient to focus the story on someone that had nothing to do with the working plot. I just wonder how many amazing story scenarios were scrapped along with the rightful main character. This was a FF directed by the guy that brought us FF Tactics and Vagrant Story. FF XII was such a far departure

But why would a street urchin leave the streets he knows so well to conquer beasts outside the city walls? It still makes no sense. If that street urchin were maybe ten years older, a little scruffier, and a slight chip on his shoulder then yes, I could see him conquering beasts.

But isn’t it a good thing for Western publication of anime to have more companies investing in it? I really don’t understand how this can be perceived as a bad thing. We have a financial giant investing in anime... If you’re already paying for Prime, as a lot of people are, $5 a month for an anime sub is expensive?

You know as a fan of the original, I never perceived Kusanagi’s shell as being Japanese, or most any of the other characters. They all came off as very Western in physical appearance and I though that was intentional. I truly thought that the culture of that universe intended to modify themselves to appear Western.

Gather around children.
There used to be a time when video games were challenging. When neither auto-save or unlimited save existed; when, failure meant that you were forced to restart from a pre-determined position, potentially discarding hours of game time. When a process called grinding left less skilled players the

The game has a low skill ceiling. A lot of top level play is won with fundamentals. Of course there are players that execute skillful tech, but it doesn’t consistently yield what fundamentals deliver. I wouldn’t say the pool of competitive players has expanded. It is more that adjustments made to the game over the

Yeah this blog post is absolutely atrocious, don’t let it discourage you. Best Zelda game since Windwaker, easily.

Two-handed knock out weapons and shields from opponnents, one-handed gives access to parrying attacks with shield, spears have safe range. Boomerangs, Arrows, Magic Wands I’m tired of even responding to this.

Anyone at all interested in BOTW, do not take anything in this post for fact, it is all very opinion based and I have no idea why this guy decided to vent and trash an innocent, stellar game.
The reviewer claims to love the traditional Zelda format but obviously didn’t play the previous installment to the Zelda

No disrespect but you sound as though you are an inpatient gamer. The type that watches spoiler videos, looks up guides and secrets online. I get in Skyrim you didn’t have to because they literally put a destination marker on the map for every objective. ‘There is a hidden city somewhere to the North, retrieve my

Well different weapon types are better for different situations. The break system rewards players for best utilizing weapon matchups. All of the good weapons become easy to acquire eventually. I have three Great Frostblades just sitting in my inventory. Every now and then I swing through one just because I can.

Weapons later in the game last a good while. Most every enemy drops a weapon, so weapons are always cycling. Even with ten weapon slots I’m usually passing up weapons and abandoning them often. You can tell a lot about someones playstyle by what weapon types they have in their inventory.
