I can prove you wrong:
I can prove you wrong:
I disagree about Sabine. Watching a professional like her flogging a super car on the track with her commentary is always a joy. Watching her flog that Audi R8 until Evans got sick was hysterical. BTW, I enjoyed the Jensen Button, Ken Block and Chris Harris segments also. But Rory Reid needs more air time.
Does there exist, anywhere in the known universe, even one picture of him that you can view without immediately thinking “douche”?
He’s not a car guy. He’s a guy that collects Ferraris and paints them white. The two are entirely different things.
Yeah, it’s terrible. Kevin Hart actually gets a ton of props from me for being the first person to make it not completely unwatchable, but lord it still wasn’t good.
I wish they’d let someone who has an opinion do the car reviews.
And awful plugs for whatever the guest is promoting...poorly read from a teleprompter by the other guest. It's so painful to watch.
He keeps things moving, and (usually) knows when to shut up and let the other person do their thing. I agree it feels kind of forced, but I think that will get better with time.
I think that is part of the problem. You watch people like the Clarkson , Hammond, May, Jay Leno, Chris Harris, Matt Farah, et al., and you can tell these people actual love cars for the sake of loving cars and their enthusiasm transfers through to the audience. Chris Evans never breaks that barrier, and it looks like…
That has to be the worst color for a Ferrari. It becomes especially obvious when they are all lined up together like that.
But that’s what makes her eternally great! “Holht ohn to youhr pballs, pbaybeee...!”
Yes. Reed and Leblanc have been pleasant surprises and I already new Harris was good. Really it would be just fine bordering on must watch without Evans.
Wait what? In studio it feels forced, he yells everything, and just seems to be an overall try-hard to the point where it’s uncomfortable to watch.
And actually I take this back. His opinions of the cars are non-existent. He seems to be just driving them for the fun of it (like... hey I’m rich, I get to do this now)? But he also doesn’t actually MAKE it fun. His interviews are weak and mostly non-existent, and everything seems so forced and un-natural. Like...…
All this all the time.
So, in this context, which Jalopnik contributor is too old for this shit? DeMuro?
