I never thought you'd mistaken the adiZero for a barefoot shoe. If you'd read more closely, you might have picked up on that. But your definition of BAREFOOT running shoes is pretty narrow, and I was simply trying to expand your understanding. Generally, BAREFOOT running shoes are more like the Nike Frees and less

No, I don't think you understand what a barefoot shoe is. Vibrams are one kind, on the very extreme end. Most barefoot shoes are just incredibly light, flexible shoes that simulate a barefoot experience while offering more shock absorbency and support than a bare foot would. See these:

Nike Free Runs. No, I'm not a barefoot running snob, but yes, I'm one of those "love the barefoot feel" guys. Simply read the reviews - they're rated high across the board. This article barely addresses the support you'd want if you chose this shoe over a barefoot shoe (no, shock absorbency doesn't count - most

Throw out the spike strip...oh...crap.

Very well put. I was thinking this same thing on the way home yesterday - Steve Jobs never lets the situation control him. He is the control freak's control freak. Of COURSE this is planned to work out well. We'll likely see a event announcement very shortly as well...

That's our Steve. In a nutshell, THIS is the kind of thing Apple could possibly loose with his departure. Hopefully he's got his little army of Stevelings well trained so this sort of attention to detail endures.

It was a great run. Sad to see him go, but wish him all the best.

Looks like a template to me. Not even a good one, at that. Flash can be great, but is generally much less than great.

Exactly.

Bullets falling at their terminal velocity are minimally dangerous, if the Mythbusters are correct. But if they fire at an angle shallow enough to allow the bullet to maintain a ballistic trajectory, then the bullet is still very lethal. Plausible was the verdict, and they maintained that it was dumb and irresponsible

Classy!

Looks like a fluid app spoofing a mobile user agent. Meh.

Ooo. Old pun is painful. Here's some more nostalgia for you.

Hence the tragic irony of this cartoon. We all feel this way about something...

[trollspray]Please breath deeply[/trollspray]

Interesting...drool-worthy...not happening.

Agreed. This smacks of PR spin, when the real update will likely be something to the tune of "here are some exciting new app icons!"

Psychologically, consumers may now crave touchscreen interactions. But PHYSIOLOGICALLY, they surely don't. And the OS is not ready for a touch revolution of the scale Apple is surely planning - it is just cutting its teeth at this point. Delivering a crotchpunch to those who say it is a TV is snide and close-minded.

Poor kid. Too young to appreciate the humor or the video game reference! He should seek retribution on his dad with a Halo-themed assault some early Saturday morning...

My two top choices (Apple or Netflix) are not on here. Shortsighted. Have an Apple TV, so either would be fine to me.
