It’s not exactly a cartoon but I have my boys watching Peewee’s Playhouse in the morning. The boys are hooked & I genuinely enjoy the nostalgia/weirdness. The modern go-to for my boys is Teen Titans Go & The Amazing World of Gumball.. Both are great for adults.
