From 90 thru 2001, I was a Hyundai and Suzuki car auto tech, and the 86-87 Hyundai Excels had the Mitzu 4 cylinder engines with carburetors, on cold days, we’d have tow trucks lined up outside the service drive because the choke would not open enough and flood the engine, so we ground the rivet from the shield on the

Regarding the 2018 F-150, I read a couple of weeks ago that aside from the base engine, the base transmission will be the 10 speed auto across the board which will explain the 1 to 2 mpg gain.

In the last year or so Jalopnik has learned a new word, “goddamn”, reminds me of when I was 12 or 13 I learned to say “shit”, I said it often till I grew out of it.

For starters, I couldn’t even afford insurance on one of those exotics, let alone payments and maintenance, but because you can’t afford a Ferrari doesn’t mean you have to damage or curse owners that own them.

I’m close friends with people with incomes from 18K a year to 300K a year, and with hanging at the homes with their friends, at either end of the income scale, the same percentage of either are self centered or total buttheads.

There’s both sorry ass bosses and sorry ass employees out there, and on the other hand, the boss shouldn’t have to pay the employee that didn’t get laid over the weekend so he didn’t do a damn thing all week knowing the union will protect him.

Gm did this in 2011

First off, Fords are pretty decent vehicles these day, but far from refined compared to GMs, yes the Caddy has too much bling bling, but that Lincoln design is so 70s bling.

Ask Jalopnik, Fords and especially Democrats you’ll never hear a bad word about from the website.

Agree with your list of engines, I just purchased a new Silverado with the new design Ecotec3 4.3 V6, so I’m hoping I get the same longevity as my 2008 4.3 with the old design, but I’ll get back with you on that in 9 or 10 years from now.

From early on till now, ALL EVs (EV1, Prius, Volt, Bolt, Leaf, Tesla (Besides Model S)) have had hideous interiors and exteriors, and thats not by accident, because the automakers know that most EV buyers want everyone to know they like trees, they will NOT buy a EV that looks like a Camry, because they wouldn’t get

Honestly, as a former auto tech at new car dealerships for 15 years, I know from fact that every time we received a Chrysler/Jeep trade in, the first thing to check is suspension components, suspension components are known week spots on Dodge/ Chrysler/ Jeep vehicles.

“This is not my beautiful car”

First off, I am NOT a Ford fan, but in its defense, there are are people willing to spend 100K on a vehicle, and the choice between a Mercedes S-Class, Porche Panamera and this F-150 is clear, You can do so much more with the F-150. It’ll last as long as the others and be cheaper to maintain.

Agreed, the ole Buick 3800 from the 70s through the 90s, planted in most every mid to large GM car was absolutely bullet proof, there is still one GM V6 that WILL the same or better longevity of the 3800, the 4.3 V6 in the Silverados, but thats the only one.

I’m 50 and could get stuck in the old ways, but as soon as I tried this I was sold, Have used one for a good 6+ months now and will never go back to razors, I have very thick beard stubble and goes through it easily, yes it can get a little messy with some hair flying, but not bad.

Typical Jalopnik Article, if it’s about GM, Trump or Republicans, they do anything in their power to find or create dirt about them, While they can find just as many stories on Ford, Obama and Democrats, that doesn’t fit Jalopnik’s agenda. Cmon people, I’m a Democrat, but even to me it looks like N Korean propaganda.

Two huge reasons the Ho is better.

Definitely, we need to continue and add coal power plants to produce electricity for electric cars to make this country green powered.

The big advantage of the Slade, It’s riding on GM’s truck/SUV chassis, and uses mostly the same powertrain, if taken care of, pretty much guarantees 200 to 300K+ miles on the clock before expecting any mechanical drivetrain repairs, I don’t believe the XT5 can say that.
