I was 5 when this came out in theaters and was scared shitless at the dinosaurs. I left the movie in love with it though.

“the failure to cast a black or Asian Doctor” is a valid complaint. everything else… eh, not so much.

I think John Hurt is the regen between McGann and Eccleston. He doesn't count as "The Doctor" because he broke the "vow" to be The Doctor.

Argo and Zero Dark Thirty may have made mention in passing about the wrong-doings of the US, but the only thing the average american audience member took from it was "Yeauuh! 'Murrca! Kill those A-rabs/Iranians/Pakistanis/Middle Eastern/Brown people. The good guys have come to save the day!"
