FWIW, I had read somewhere that CBS said the entire bracket will be released within the first 30 minutes. Now that is a second hand report of a statement made by a network that has every reason to lie to try and get people to watch, so I double down on my original “FWIW”
with all the Kotuaku crossover on Deadspin lately, I was CERTAIN this was going to be about the wall-hops on Wario Stadium. And I was going to be fine with that.

i was using soccer as a metaphor(world cup...or is that also thing in basketball) where the talent level between the US men’s and the world and the US women’s and the world(relative to gender) is astronomically different. Your point is closer to my original point about high level HS teams. an Oak Hill or a Monteverde…
a high level HS basketball team takes them no problem. Rec league gets dicier. I’m reminded of how in the run up to the last women’s world cup, the US national team(best or among the best in the world) scrimmaged the men’s u-17 squad and got beat something like 9-2.
yeah but they want to erect statues and hold JoePa day at their stadium. Sorry, but fuck them forever or until they complete scrub that ~50 year period from their history.
