God help me, my cousin and I saw Stone Cold in the theater when it was released. And we were both excited for it. It really isn’t that bad of a B-movie, especially for its time.

It also solidified our desire and ability to see just about anything, regardless of quality.

Island of Dr. Moreau

Unless you’re a Rangers fan, the Islanders are kind of tough to hate right now. They’ve just evoked more pity than anything else I think!

I was going to say the same about the ‘Hawks not having any hate-able personalities on the team. I think that goes a long way in the respect they get from casual to hardcore fans of other teams.

Kane has proven to be a goofball at times, but like you say, he’s grown up a little and he’s just so damn good on the puck.

I’ve been reading the ‘Making of Star Wars’ book which has a crazy amount of detail and the script was very much in flux at this point. Lucas was still writing drafts and refining it.

I believe originally Han, Luke, Obi-Wan et al were supposed to rescue Princess Leia on Alderaan and not the Death Star. Obi-Wan was also

Desmond deserves a bit of sass for those yips, but Mackey won’t be the Sasser.

I may be against the death penalty, but I totally get the rage, outrage and calls for him to be killed. I lived in Boston for 14 years and knew a lot of those streets, from Boylston Street to Cambridge and Watertown, intimately. I like the idea of him sitting in a tiny room, locked away from almost all human contact,

  1. Your certainty of his thoughts is impressive and scary. What am I thinking right now? Wrong. I’m thinking about Cap’n Crunch cereal. He wouldn’t be suffering in death either. I’d argue he’d be suffering less.

I’m not, and I do.

Life without parole (which is a given in this case) and solitary confinement for the rest of his life? Yep, on board. Why do you want to cost taxpayers more money with all the eventual appeals keeping him on death row, not to mention trotting him out to the media each time, bringing memories back on

Looks like we’ve got some slightly re-designed TIE fighters too!

On first glance... yes! On second glance... YEEEESSSSS!!!

Oh yeah, I totally got that. I didn't expect an 18-year montage of him going around killing Jedi, but I'd like to have seen the origins of that hunt, just to establish the feared Sith Lord he'd become. I get killing kids = i'm a really evil person now, but that was not really a showcase of his burgeoning dark side

That's an interesting perspective, one I hadn't looked too deeply into before but I completely accept after reading your summary.

I still don't like the prequels all that much, but this makes them go down a bit easier. I still wish, after building up Anakin's fall for 2 3/4 films, they would have had his character let

My god, I've seen The Room multiple times, even attended a screening in Boston with Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero, and it could not prepare me for Birdemic. The Room is incredible, but I have to say, Birdemic tops it in its awfulness.

Hey, I'm an Islanders fan. Until this year, I've had decades of untold suffering, so I can relate!

I'm no Phil Kessel fan, but the guy is not, has not, and mostly likely will never be comfortable speaking in public/to reporters, and that's ok.

Hey Bubs.

I don't mind the neon green, but I don't like the jersey design. The stripes under the arms do the sweater no favors and the 'glare' off the NHL shield should be another brand no-no.

I'm not ashamed to say I collected the original Marvel run as a kid and I love them in all their cheesy glory. They went on a solid run after some questionable starts and had a bunch of solid story lines. Plus, it got me into comics. I still remember getting that first brown sleeve-wrapped comic in the mailbox and

So how many weeks is this latest Schilling screed gonna cost Keith Law on Twitter?
