@unyi3lding: Agreed. The graph in the article is 100% meaningless. It does not take into account the myriad other factors that might reduce the rate of crashes and fatal crashes. For instance, increasing use of ABS and stability control in cars, or more stringent enforcement of drunk driving laws.
