@Dirt Pirate: DO WANT
@Dirt Pirate: DO WANT
@PajamaSam: Oh a star. I want one of those.
@SarahDot: That's the comment of the Week!!
@MikeTheRipper12: Aha, this makes sense.
@alleggerita: this is not a uniquely American phenomena.
@infi: This is my one question. I can understand not wanting ugly barricades, but these popup columns are a pretty standard solution to the problem, and is actually *less* intrusive and probably less mechanically complex.
I bought an X1/9 for Chumpcar on the 2nd of the year.
@stöke, esprit of ecstasy: Heart-click
@pyramidhead1: Someone form Boston is going to show up and go OMG LEDS!!!!!111!
@RacinG73 - no I will not show you my johnson: That's a lot of TLAs, but not enough FFLAs.
@tobythesandwich: Agreed. While I appreciate that the GTO is a much more functional vehicle with just as much get-up-and-go, it was really, really bland in appearance.
Buy that Fiat X1/9 tomorrow, and hit up Lemons and Chumpcar this summer.
@swishercutter001: 100% agreement
@Grant Mikosz: The only time my Miata lets me down it when the snow is so deep that it get high-centered. Miata + Blizzaks = drives like it's on rails.
@onefiftyseven: Paying attention can only get you so far; you can't guarantee that the people around you are paying attention... and someday you're going to want to stop in a hurry.
@Mike De Lucia: Surf Craigslist and find some used ones. I bought a 1-season-old set of Blizzaks for $150.
@IppoJ: Agreed. Around Minneapolis, I actually see a lot more pickups in the ditch than I do ordinary cars. I'm pretty sure it's because the people with 4wd get a little cocky when the snow is down.
Factual issue in the article: The YF-12 and SR-71 were not really influenced at all by the XB-70 design - the YF-12 actually flew in 1963, before the XB-70...
@HerrKrinkle: Yeah, you guys probably giggle at us Minnesotans in the same way that we giggle at east-coast folks.
@Elhigh: I've made that mistake before. Had to dig a full meter down to get my Grain Belt back...
