@Simplify, then add beer: Bah, I missed that. Still, gas-electric hybrid cars have a sliding scale of fuel efficiency based on range of the trip. These ludicrous MPG figures are still misleading and pretty much meaningless. What matters is the range on battery power (if applicable) and the fuel efficiency with…
@TheAntiCat: "Miles per gallon" is a measure of efficiency. If you want range, range is easy to explicitly quote. There is no reasonable way to quote "miles per gallon" for a purely electric vehicle.
I really, really wish electric car manufacturers would quit quoting "miles per gallon". It's entirely meaningless. What matters:
so when's Olbermann's "Worst Person In The World" segment coming
@Xander Crews: Boosh!
i think he took George Costanza's advice on how to get fired from the New York Yankees a little too seriously.

Ok, so most of the article makes my head hurt with stupid, but I HAVE to explicitly call you out on #4.
@mercedesuberalles: This is the car that I want more than pretty much anything.
@Brian: Cogito Ergo ZOOM!: Agreed. There's no provision for ducting the two top-mounted engines for vertical thrust, and burying extra engines or a F35-style shaft-driven ducted fan within the fuselage would greatly reduce the "serious load of bombs and torpedoes." it was purportedly meant to carry.
@irishman—AARGH!: Correction: "I'd buy the Cougar! if it was closer."
@jedimaster: Me too. Matt republish this article as an open letter to Ballmer!! I may publish my second game to the Xbox Live ecosystem, if everything goes as planned.
@SpellingNazi: I think you win this article's comment section.
@Steve_in_NC: I love how everyone is already branding the Volt a "failure".
