What do they actually do? As far as I know they’ve had two meetings, neither of which were important enough for Robert Iger to bump a vacation or a board meeting to attend. Can any of them come out publicly and point to anything they’ve had any influence on? Or are they just props Trump can be photographed socializing

Excellent post/avatar synergy. If Pam hasn’t said this in any of the episodes, she needs to.

Did I make an assumption? Don’t think I did. I responded to someone who said (paraphrasing) picking up a few thousand more votes from the Green Party wouldn’t have made a difference in the EC results*. They’re assumption, not mine. Go crusade somewhere else.

Their reasoning in one of the hearings amounted to pretty much as soon as the stay went into effect they stopped every and all activity related to it per the courts order. Pretty much, “What? You told us to stop so we stopped. How were we supposed to know you just meant the ban part? It’s all your fault for not being

Don’t worry, he’ll bring Russia back front and center with his tweets either in a couple hours or tomorrow morning. I just can’t see him not tweetraging over this.

“I said Pepsi Mr. Trump, she was going to bring you a Pepsi. God, why did I think you were talking about a soda when you asked if you could grab it.”

Yeah, I don’t either. The problem is OP was talking about ‘we’ as in The United States Government, not ‘we’ as in a collective of individuals within The United States. There is only one policy the country can have on each issue at a time regardless of the amount of conscientious objectors (looking at you Stein

Going by the last few Conventions, both D and R, and Conservative quadrennial gatherings that is already Dubya. This should be* Superman IV bad—so in your face awful it made the franchise radioactive for the next couple decades and so expensive it bankrupted the studio.

No, technically we did elect him. That’s the law. Everyone knew the rules to the game when we started playing and it wasn’t some questionable interpretation of those rules that led to his winning, and whether or not you agree with it doesn’t mean we didn’t do it.

You won’t miss anything by not watching. Republicans will ask about unrelated stuff and try to go after Comey’s character. Dem’s will ask pointed questions that the majority of won’t be able to be answered in a public setting. The few actual newsworthy items will be prominently featured in a few minutes at the top of

It’s so pathetic Trump and hias supporters are still trying to use Hillary and Obama as a diversion.

Setting aside any contention to that self-proclaimed title, I would say it was when we elected Trump. You can’t really elect a rhetorical nativist while at the same time claiming to have the greater community’s interest at heart. That and the whole him being such an irredeemable bumblefuck not only can he not lead

Please tell me that’s not a real quote from him.

You’re right. The Green Party votes wouldn’t have made a difference. Hillary won by 3 million votes and the EC picked Trump anyways, a few thousand more wouldn’t have swayed them.

Not to minimize the importance of the Climate Agreement and us staying in it, but fuck him either way for turning this into a reality tv show. Other than maybe the misguided hope of changing the narrative, there is no other fucking reason to pull this bullshit other than for him to feel powerful.

Right, take the money saved from not investing into coverage for pre-existing conditions and invest it into coverage for pre-existing conditions. Win-Win. Just look at his budget proposal if you’re still confused.

I found video of Spicer’s response
