Not to mention there’s nothing stopping people on the American side with tar, paint, excrement, etc. or just fucking smashing them.

The interview was terrible, but if someone gets a crack at her again, beyond obvious follow ups about her shitty maternity leave plan and the rollback of workplace protections, I’d like them to ask, “Name three times he’s listened and implemented what you have suggested.”
The problem is the satellite launches prove they have capabilities beyond that. Look at the Minuteman MIRV graphic on the right and ignore the part where it splits into multiple payloads. A satellite is basically step 5, but instead of free flight it accelerates until it is going fast enough to fall around the earth.…
McConnell needs to be a shameless douchebag instead of a slow witted troll. Wasn’t there a character who was a play on our paparazzi and totally creating controversies out of nothing?
The North Korea that has put two satellites in space using multi-stage rockets?
I love how when he got the nom he told the story about how he wasn’t sure he wanted it, but his wife prayed or some shit and then told him he had to take the job because he was meant to do it, and then he proceeds to barely even try, is terrible at it when he does, and apparently gives zero fucks.
Just spitballing, but I would say it comes from not being clear on what Dems want our role to be in the world. The argument for cutting aid essentially boils down to isolationism. Why should we spend this money elsewhere when we can use it here?
This is the man who was elected to President of the United States
The CNN link to Trump’s meeting with Rohrabacher didn’t work for me, but from the article:
I don’t know. I’m pretty much on board with you. I don’t think there there is a smoking gun hot enough to cause Trump to resign à la Nixon. His removal from office is probably going to have to be a political determination and what Republicans have been willing to overlook recently (and not so recently) doesn’t inspire…
Lack of reporting =/= not occurring, or wouldn’t occur given greater opportunities.
Well, it’s a good thing these “moderate” Republicans I keep hearing about are so principled. Time and time again you hear about how they stand up for their stated beliefs in the face of adversity. I’m sure when it comes time to put up or shut up, they’ll stand firm behind their objections. /s
How so? Reid changing the rules on Presidential appointees and McConnell threatening to do so for SCOTUS appointees aren’t equal, in motivating factors or scope.
I forget the comedian (John Oliver maybe?), but one of them did a bit about how they feel bad for the USA because we will be they the first empire to fall where our idiocy will be fully documented on video.
My guilty pleasure is reading through the people who troll him on Twitter and usually the deleted one are captioned somewhere in the responses. The real early ones maybe not, but once people learned it was a violation of the records act it started happening.
He’ll try to profit off of it, but it will fail. Somehow it will still scam gullible morons out of their life savings. Oh! And somehow there will be a contractor who still hasn’t learned who will get stiffed for building it. It will be gaudy and horrible though.
Right? The filibuster only has value if it can be used. If the only side that it impedes is your own, then it holds no value.
Tempting, that is the way to my heart. Unfortunately my new brother-in-law has three smokers that are in near constant use. I’m pretty sure I’ll have gout by the end of the year.
They have to do their best to pre-screen places POTUS is going to, and, well, his golf course is a weekly destination. They have to check the damage to make sure there is nothing beyond simple vandalism as far fetched as it may be, and part of that would at the very least be being aware of people who could anonymously…
It can basically be boiled down to:
