Government agencies are supposed to be apolitical. It might not be wrong, as it could be construed as highlighting their organization in the media which would be benign, but when those media appearances are you lying to a pseudo news organization for political purposes, it certainly isn’t right.

Just went back to the thread

That’s my gripe. They don’t campaign on basically what their grievances listed above are. It’s usually “were gonna cut insert agency a by 70% and do away with insert agency b.” Then when it turns out agency a and b actually do things, especially when the benefits save more money than the cost, they look like assholes.

Plus our press will start having to go to the foreign officials to get info. The officials will eventually figure out you can’t trust a thing that comes from this administration and if they want anything agreed to in their meetings to stick, they’ll have to talk to our press. Basically our “official” foreign policy

What about Sean Hannity? How come no one asks Sean Hannity? Call Sean Hannity. Call Sean Hannity.

My favorite so far

I view him more as a kid playing a make believe game (the floor is lava), but keeps fucking up and “losing”, and instead of accepting it he just comes up absurd excuses (Nuh-uh, I was wearing a cape that gives me heat resistance and can shoot missiles. BROOSH! I just blew up what you’re standing on, you have to fall

You’re correct, though closer than I expected. The audio sounds spliced but it is an actual clip. Also I’m not sure if he realizes it’s a title or not. . .

Not a sentence, but you can hear him butcher the title and then be incredibly awkward.

Can’t find a clip online, but one of the hourly news programs led in with random R’s (mis)pronouncing it with Trump saying “T-shook”.

How else are you supposed to drive up demand to make coal viable and provide cover for removing sanctions on Russian oil?

I get the sense (deluding myself) that this is part of his negotiation strategy of making an outlandish demand so that he can negotiate down to what he wants. It’s dumb, namely because the budget will likely be passed by reconciliation meaning it only needs a simple majority. Congress is going to pass what congress is

My favorite part

From Judge Watson

I’m usually bad with clowns, but to me the makeup seemed less, uh, realistic? Like they weren’t going for the clown look, but just did facepaint with a nod to clowns. The props/decorations in the video though. . .

I’m pretty bad with symoblism and translation of lyrics but I’ll throw out an idea. Look up the lyrics and read them. The song in a nutshell is saying “I grew up on the streets, things are different there, you’re putting up with shit that people would kill over where I come from.”

That’s a good dog.

I like how he suggests Obama would have jailed Snoop as though no one ever alluded to murdering him while he was POTUS.

I’ve never made it through any of their interviews long enough in recent memory to really be accurate, but my sense was that that Carlson defaults to ad hominems/tu quoqes whereas Hannity relies on strawmen and appeals to ignorance and O’Reilly uses false equivalencies and cherry picks data, i.e. Carlson insults,

Only the best.
