I’ve watched and heard about way too many accidents where people outrun where they are looking with cars that get to 60 in around 5 seconds already. I fear the future where the “norm” becomes about half that.

it definitely is, even the chevy bolt at 0-60 of 6.5 seconds is likely faster than most people are accustomed and that’s pretty low on the totem pole for electric speeds.

To each their own, if I could buy a modern car and pay less for a version without Car Play (but keeping full functionality otherwise) I’d be all over it.

All the more reason to get the manual. I prefer the exhaust only be as loud as necessary for the performance I want. Any louder is just stupid and obnoxious. Every time I hear dickheads drive by loud as hell but just flowing with traffic I just think to myself, “It’s that wooooWOOOOOO”
