Hiromi told me a story about her daughter’s hair. Because Emi was missing, they didn’t have anything to put in the grave. She wanted something. So she pulled some of Emi’s hair out of the drain and buried it.

I lived with a couple that fought all the time. Their social media accounts were insufferable. Couples pics almost every day with captions like “I don’t know what I would do with you, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me!”
