Where are my scissors ...

@Zordon: WEP is incredibly weak. A modern computer can smack off a key in a couple seconds when enough packets are captured (I've seen it take 2 seconds with aircrack-ptw on a modern rig). I don't think a phone would be too far behind that, it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

VOTE: TrueCrypt

@Totalfixation: They must make a crapload of money then, I use that thing 24/7.

I'm running FF4b8pre and I like it. I only had a few crashes with b8 (I started with b5, haven't had an errors up 'till then) but now they're fixed.

@hewitt1: Use the corrections tag when noting a correction. Just add # before corrections (I don't want to do it or else this post will be incorrectly labeled a correction)

@Spiny: If you have an Android phone that's capable of Debian you can put the wifi card into promiscuous mode and then use aircrack-ng.

@Morgan Culp: It's still all over the place here. Either people have DSs, they let Verizon set up the wifi (yes, Verizon sets up WEP), or they just don't know any better.

You call that evil? Give me a break, where are the GUI frontends for TCPdump and G1-Debian setups with aircrack-ng? I want some real evil.

@ctxppc: It has around 5 hours, which is better-than-average but does not nearly justify costing $1000. Most MacBooks have that kind of battery life so the Air isn't anything special in that department.

@nickboeka: Sounds pretty cool. I wonder how a paid VPN would compare *looks up VPN price/speed*

Hm, and I my friend is selling 1TB HDDs for $50. Maybe I will take up that offer.

What about CopyTrans Manager? Or is the free/trial version limited?

@Say Waaah?: The problem is that iTunes blows. It's only decent as a media player and it's jam-packed with bloat and junk that people don't use. Selectively copying music is also much easier with other tools.

@pixelpushing: Hm, true. I wonder where this fits in Sony's line.

@nickboeka: How much are you paying each month?

@Anirudh Choudhary: Get a seedbox or a private line. Some seedboxes are quite pricey whereas cable internet would be your own secure service with reasonable speeds on everything for about $30 a month. The price of internet service really depends on where you live.

@MrRainMan: It's still easy for them to read what you're downloading. I'm pretty sure that torrent trackers don't use SSL (which is stupid, they should) so all the ISP has to do is read what trackers you're connecting to.
