@pointyblue: Most peers are encrypted now, torrent clients ship with encryption enabled by default.

@Gaffadin: can it update though? That's the main benefit of PeerBlock, updating protection.

@rushwow: But you can get features that the iPad doesn't have without spending an extra $500. The MacBook Air is the most overpriced PoS I've ever seen, it's only plus is that it's thin.

It's a new PSP, putting Android is just a bonus for apps and more familiar development. It's not a phone that plays games, it's a game console that acts as a phone.

Sony's games on Android? Beware, iPhone, beware.

@outerfringe: I like how lolno it's not. Take the cheaper 4GB and HDD route and this still beats the higher specced Mac Mini for $170 less. Keep the higher specs and it's a monster. Slap in a 100-something dollar GPU and it'd Falcon Punch that Mac out the window.

@QMurphy: I would assume so.

@iwuzbord: Because $800 in PC parts gets a hell of lot more power than $800 in Mac parts.

@kschang: Sounds like something that could be done through simple web programming like Javascript rather than through an app.

I've known all these techniques for a while but haven't been able to apply them because I can't afford decent picks.

@aperson: This is the 3rd one so far.

@Limbero: There have been infopic guides on how to do this (on 4chan and such), that's how common it is. Using default and backdoor passwords is probably the oldest trick in the book yet people still don't know about it.

@ascoteton77: MAC addresses can be spoofed. Even if they couldn't be, using WEP would still leave the network open to sniffing.

@SophT: No love for VNC :(

PS3 to PS3 FTP. Anyone done it before?

@mikjackson77: MSE, Avira, or Avast. Those were the top 3 antivirus (MSE 1st - Avast 3rd) in the latest antivirus tests.

As if it wasn't expensive enough, Apple is charging Australian buyers 1200 for the Air. The exchange rate for USD/AUD is currently 1:1.

I hope they keep optimizing Android and don't add much bloat. The more they speed up the OS the easier it is to run on older phones and the longer batteries last in newer phones.

@sethcollie: Or just get a cheap 15-17 inch laptop. You don't even need to spend as much $500, there are slews of 15" laptops under that price.
