@Odin: Ah, I didn't know about the battery life. Yeah, it was more expensive.

@Odin: The PSP came out at about that time and it was much more powerful than the DS.

@DoubtedBeef: DS has about the power of an N64. The DS is a surprisingly underpowered device.

@InfiniteJustice: I remember seeing a WinAmp streamer rig that could do it. WinAmp would act as a mini web server with a webpage that you could use to stream music. There are also a few homebrewed streamers/player.

Any Windows or Linux version? I revving up the VM right now.
