Don't be confused by the name of the school. It's a very highly ranked institution in a progressive enclave. Considering that the people you are referring to often don't even finish K-12, those aren't the people attending.

I really have a hard time wrapping my mind around it. You can wear their awesome outfits. You can learn their awesome dance moves. You can sing their music. Why with the blackface and the hair? Did they think people wouldn't recognize the songs without the blackface? WTF?

I don't think he was such an ass when he wrote this. I think it happened after. I tell people to check it out of the library.

This is my all-time favorite book. When I was twelve I read my father's copy, which he got when he was twelve in 1944. I am forty-two now and I have read it every two or three years ever since. It never fails to surprise. I doubt I will ever outgrow it.

I read this as an adult when I bought it for some foster kids I was working with. I ended up buying another copy for myself. I still have it. I love it.

Oh! Mouse House was an important book from my childhood. My copy is now on my children's bookshelves. I've never seen anyone else mention her. I had no idea she was so prolific.

Not my favorite character but the actor is definitely incredible.

Yes, yes, yes. Suzanne. I love her. That actor is amazing. I loved her Shakespeare.

My ex once saw someone with what appeared to be a seeing-eye cat. He actually followed the pair for a couple of blocks because he thought he had to be wrong but the person was definitely visually impaired and the cat definitely seemed to be guiding. BSG! It's hard to find something to follow OITNB with. The first season of Heroes is good. The others are not nearly as good but some of the character arcs make it well worth watching all the way through. Rome is great. First season at least. Six Feet Under if you haven't seen it. The first three seasons of the

I didn't really read much of that article but I love seeing all the Madeline love here in the comments.

Viva!

So glad you said that. I read about it in 2005. I get so confused by old studies described in the press as new. This is the second time I've seen this on Jezebel recently. I think they may need a new word.

This was my only real response as well.

Not to mention, thinks his genetic code is solely a "gift" from his father. So, you know, smarts apparently not a component of that particular code.

That's what I always say about Yahoo commenters, "they don't call it Yahoo for nothing."

I agree with every single thing you said except for the tongue. That fucking tongue.

Top wage in Seattle was only $17.50? Do you know if it had ever been higher at any point? When I left SF in the late 90s, we were making $27. This was just a couple of years after unionizing but before the co-op. I can't remember what it was at the time of unionizing but I think it was $24. When I started it had been
