We’ve had the military-G in Finnish army and peace keeping force has them too. I personally didn’t drive them, but my friend was in UN tour 2 times and he really liked them. Reliable, robust and nice to drive for military truck.

I would claim that most lane assists are dangerous in places with real winter. My Skoda Enyaq (ID4 with better interior) has tried to kill me few times this winter. And if there’s grave road, it’s not much better. If it would have saved my bacon even once, it would be tolerable, but I tend to pay attention to driving…

I think more beneficial (atleast for enthusiast) would be to banish the 25 year rule. Slap the 25% duty or whatever for all private imports if necessary, but land calling itself free, that limitation is pretty silly.

I cannot but wonder how awesome the series would have been if the first 3 would have been the halfway-point and the second half would have been as good quality and as lean. I would say it would have elevated the series form “dunno if I ever re-read the last *3" to “one of the all time greats”.

The first 3 books are epic, the rest of the series could do with some tinkering.

I kinda hope this spawns more quality filmatizations of quality scifi. I mean there’s tons of classics and modern scifi books that would make fantastic movies. Instead we get gazillionth reboot of some Marvel crap.
