Problem with that is that it weight as much as the car engine. So perhaps something with nearly as much uumph and third of the weight like other large triples in the triumph lineup.

I’m totally on board with the triples as engine choise, but I think that’s wrong triple. Perhaps triple from Triumph Tiger 1200 or even from Yamaha Mt-09 would do the trick more nicely.
It’s really shame they couldn’t continue with 75 platform (which was based on old Giulietta) in GTV like the did with SZ/RZ. Dunno if it was too expensive or why the chose the Fiat underpinnings, but it would have been true classic with that engine lineup.
Yup. It’s compact, but has very roomy interior and boot, all aluminium body, had epic fuel mileage (diesel had 2.9l/100km on highway, or 80 something in sausages per square feet) and was interesting looking. I’ve often pondered getting one as second car.
First think should be change the oil in the diffs and transfercase. The front has next to no oil and it’s “for life”. And it cost 5k to replace. They tend to go around 150tkm unless oil is changed.
Also there’s some checks due covid.
Well very few cars these days have desirability. It’s a shame what BMW did to 1-series. Well thankfully there’s motorcycles.
Regular gravel roads are fine with pretty much any car, I had 1-series few years back. However these “fire roads” are different matter.
Actually they make much more sense than SUV:s or crossovers.
Also it’s quite weird article to read if all pictures are attributed to Porsche.
52 mpg is just 4,6l/100km. Most of my cars so far (apart from my project RRC) has archived that. If Mercedes modern (and heck 90's too) E-series diesel wagon can easily get that, there’s absolutely no reason why family car cannot archive that. Problem is that you guys want MBT:s instead of cars. And it’s easy way to…
Darwinism at its finest.
Reminded me of co-worker that was on few year work gig in China. I visited him and spend time in pub one evening. I know most Finns have practice in drinking, but getting pints of vodka colas that are “easy” on the coke is pretty hard code. Saw how the waitress did them and they had 50% vodka. And my friend drank them…
Police pursuit and beating a suspect?
Joking aside saw my first of these new 125cc Honda Monkeys week back. Man that would be nice with that engine swap of yours. I’m not quite sure if that’s legal to do here in Finland, but after I’ll get my RRC project done (and cabin and old house and and), that’s definitely on my List.
C63 AMG wagon. I could affort to get one, but with my yearly driving it would cost 50% of the cars price each year on gas alone. So I cannot afford or justify that cost.
Dude, I’ve really liked your stuff, but that’s just Wrong (tm) opinion.
Well that seems like a cunning plan to get the Bangle version look tolerable. Classic introduce absolutely horrible idea first and the marginally better.
Did anyone check if Michael Bay was anywhere near by. Seems like he’s jonesing for some fireballs.
That’s mig welder. With this you can only dig your way out.
