Actually I think Steve put a lot more thought into this than you think. He's not just Apple's CEO, to many people he's an icon. You don't see Superman, Batman, Homer Simpson,etc in a different outfit each time they appear. He wants to be as recognizable as the Apple logo itself.

The thing is; bright colors from the comics do not translate well into the real world. If you want to put these characters into a real movie, you have to make some changes to the color palette, else it just looks stupid. I don't see a problem with that.

Well I for one am looking forward to it, but I don't think it will come close to story in its original format
