Just piggy backing on this, about a year ago a YouTube account surfaced with almost all of Jay’s music on it, sometimes in higher quality than was ever released publicly. This lead to fans believing that he himself or sometime in his camp runs the account. Adding fuel to that fire, a few months after the account

Well articulated my dude. And it would be difficult to find an artist of his past caliber today. I hope I said that in a way it can be understood. Dude is one of the best who's ever done it. If Biggie can be debated as the GOAT and his catalog is crazy short, Jay should be in that same discussion in my opinion. Two

I agree. Even if he did release proper albums, or even one proper album, who’s to say that he would even be riding high? Some of my favorite rappers haven’t even gone gold. Everything happens for a reason; sometimes, there’s no point of pondering what could have been.

I’m with you. I think we should just probably enjoy the music he puts/has put out, and hope that he’s had a happy and fulfilling life. And if he’s happy, who are we to demand more from him?

Damn. I just went back and listened to some shit off Victory. Exhibit C was never really my jam, but Googly Eyes just straight up gave me goosebumps (even if it is just a straight rip of Madlib’s Lootpack - Answers beat).

You must have been talking to my son who brought this up yesterday while I’m driving him back to college. I wanted to put his ass out my car. Bringing up old shit. Hurting my emotions. Excuse me while I play Exhibit  C on loop for a bit.

Okay this is for Bill.

Hey Man. Sorry that Pulitzer didn’t come through today. We'll gett’em next year.

The problem is made even worse by the fact that the establishment Dems are barely even pretending to protect Omar because she is upsetting their donors as well.

Mr Washington seems to have forgotten about the Fair Sentencing Act of 2010 and the numerous criminal justice reforms that Obama did and attempted.  Guess which party opposed it?

White people really do seem to wear blinders when white people commit the same crimes as POC. I live in MA. I watched local news yesterday. I think channel 10 talked about this for about all of 47 seconds, also didn’t give a name, and didn’t mention that she lied a bout it being a black dude. They only said that a

I love Tika Sumpter, but casting her as Bow’s mom changes the complexion of the show (literally and metaphorically). I will still watch this show, but It throws off the continuity of Black-ish. There was a story line in this past season where Ruby talked about how her family treated her poorly as a child because she

Yep. This guy missed out on the point that, for us whites, racism is something we have to actively opt out of. Racism is the baseline.

I’ve said this many times: please write a book. Please. Your writing is ferociously beautiful, powerful, moving, thought provoking. It’s needed.

Oh, there’s many a law on the books that are there for such purposes.

the suspended cop was tenured and was actually in charge of training two rookies that day.

Exactly, this.

The environment the police have created when it comes to POC acting to help or protect anyone should be criminal. I honestly wouldn’t intervene these days for fear of being assumed to be the perp and getting shot as a result.

I have no words. I’ve experienced something similar. But in my case I was breaking up a domestic violence situation. I was a senior in highschool. It was between a white kid (from a rich privileged area) and his black girl friend. I restrained the white kid. Didnt get violent (although well with my rights to). Police
