You’re right, I misspoke. The point I was making was that it appeared to be another hint to how the story was being slightly altered from the original and then realized it did happen in the original. I just forgot that part since it has been a while since playing it.

One part of the game that stands out especially playing it through hard mode now is when Cloud runs into Sephiroth in the alley and says he killed him already. To add on to the explore tip, keep an eye out for shiny spots. I’ve noticed “pick up” spots in the strangest places while roaming to a hunt or quest. Climb ladders up the tall buildings/towers because there is usually an item up there. Great tip guide!
