I’m not even trained. I’m a guy with a cheap welder in his garage who saw a few Youtube videos and web articles. I think one’s first welding project shouldn’t be on something that could be dangerous if it failed, like a vehicle. They should do like everybody else, and start by making a welder’s cart.

Once, I was wearing sneakers with a synthetic mesh like fabric. Got a tiny bead of boiling metal sent between my toes. After that I was more picky in my footwear for welding.

Ouch, you need much much higher current. These welds don’t look good.

Your reply is not about universal healthcare. Universal HC is not about deciding who deserves or not. It’s the acknowledgement that health should not depend on one’s wealth, while you act like people who can’t afford a private insurance deserve to be sick. It works for the other industrialized country, you know.

It’s more a comment about how people fight for their guns for self protection, but don’t for something that would more likely kill them : being sick.
