I've been looking for a list kind of like this, though I'll admit it was on the more techy side of things rather than survival etc.

I went to a job interview this week. I was meeting my job coach guys there at 9am...I arrived 20 minutes early. The manager seemed like he wanted to start the interview right away but the guys hadn't arrived yet and I wanted to wait. I was more relaxed then I thought I would be. I even brought a book to read while…
Exactly.
This is really great! Its a little weird cause I'm used to going into Barns and Noble for my hard copy books, but this will work well in the future hopefully.
Cheers for the tip. I may do this. I'm also looking for a townhouse or a two bedroom apartment (something with stairs) so that the floor above me belongs to me and the ground below me is just dirt if I can help it. I lived next to two guys for a year who had wild house parties at like 3am when I was in college so…
My girlfriend and I are both on tight budgets. If one of us pays for both then the other returns the favor another night. Otherwise we usually just split it.
I didn't realize how easy to use NFC was. After I get my Nexus I'll be sure to think of some useful things. It'd probably be apartment beneficial to help keep our bills down. Cheers
Oh man this is the sole reason I hated my capstone project. I was the performer in my group and itd be like ... After the simplest task on a Mac, ie turning it on, opening pro tools, opening a folder etc; i'd have to deal with everybody getting on their facebook for five minutes.
This... is.. awesome! And also probably the first lifehacker tip i've used after reading it for like a year. Watching a full 13 minute video in 720p and no buffer (3mb dsl line) ? Just awesome :) Cheers for this
I'm currently looking for a job. I sent in an application to a restaurant maybe two weeks ago on a Friday. I stopped by on tuesday and then again on either friday or the next monday as they said they usually take a week to review applications. When I went in they said they were still reviewing applications and if…
Having just said that, the install file now says there's an issue with a .cab file lmao. I'll get it to work eventually geeze.
LazyLemming - Thanks for actually being helpful in letting me know that they were indeed compatible. I tried it again and it the file simply wasn't completely downloaded before hand. I still got the same pop up (asking me if it was okay to run I guess), but it actually continued this time.
Sorry I don't have time for your douche-baggery. Go play somewhere else
Well hey I would if I knew how to lol if it is possible.
I've being using LibreOffice for the longest time now. However I just tried out Windows 8 and theirs no support for 64 bit systems and there's no android apps for it. For right now I'm using Microsoft Office just to familiarize myself with it so i can put it as a list of skills on my resume since thats the standard.…
If netflix had the movies I wanted to watch I probably wouldn't bother with the blurays. I'm just getting sick of all the content battles. It'd be easier for me to set up a personal media center with ripped bluray copies to watch the movies I'm interested in rather than spending $14 a month on dvd/streaming…
I'd rather own content then not have it in the future when/if Google decides to kill Google Play is my main point. Most of the movies I buy are like $8 now anyway so it'd be no worries. $62 right now for Harry Potter box set on bluray for example; thats a great price. ~$35 for the Dark Knight Trilogy.
All of my band teachers, especially my high school jazz band, concert band etc. Not only was a great teacher and trumpet player but he also pulled a few pranks when we went on trips.
I've just canceled my entire netflix account and am using Amazon's instant video services. My logic is to continue buying blu-rays and use the instant video for rentals when I'm on a trip. Despite my new, used Wii having only standard definition capabilities... for a $2 rental I'm not really complaining when there's…
Thats beautiful
