On the desktop - A pair of JBL's, an mbox mini, two external back up drives, a Samsung 1440x900 monitor (dunno size). TV remote, blu ray remote, ac remote, glasses case, an old mechanical dell keyboard which I'm really enjoying now. Not shown a Keystation 88es, hp deskjet printer, and the super pc. Its basically

I like getting a feel for stuff like ipads, nooks, nexuses etc. Reading the specs and doing virtual tours is one thing, but you gotta have an idea of what it'd be like living with those before buying for me. Its simply a matter of being able to afford the device at the moment which usually convinces me to buy online

Its not much different then going to bars and other establishments and not purchasing their goods. Why should movie theaters be different?

Bookmarking this for when I get the chance to upgrade my Garmin thats a good few years old (I don't get free map upgrades its that old). The only sucks about gps and my honda civc is that I can't mount them for whatever reason or when I do get them mounted like on the windshield they'll just come crashing down and

Cheers mate, I also decided use a widget like the one you have but I went with one that was more like the android clock. Its just sexy right in the top center of the desktop

If there was better widget support on windows I'd go for it. But this has gotten me to go for the rocket dock. Is there a safe/simple way to always hide the windows 7 taskbar these days?

Shure 840s - previous use was for Recording Engineering classes and the like. Now mostly for just chilling on the bed just diving into an album and getting away from it all. They complimented the quality of my JBLs when I was at grad school.

I have those same speakers/monitors :D Love em!

I don't know about every day, but I've been having good talks with my horn technician. He likes talking gear so when I"m officially in the market for an intermediate horn (~$1,500) I could possibly get good deals from guys like him.

I usually don't like to make playlists, but Joe Henderson and Kenny Garrett have been getting played a lot. Kimbra has also made my must have cd list. When doing work I'll switch from Pandora radio with shuffle mode turned on with a bunch of genre stations and albums I've been meaning to check out on Spotify.

Dumb phones ftw :D I only upgraded to a qwerty keyboard a month ago or so and the only thing I really like about it is the qwerty keyboard and the fact that it has a longer back light.

This wouldn't be creepy? I think the only kind of situation where something like this would be appropriate would be okcupid or sites like that. I prefer all natural when it comes to meeting people face to face. Occasionally I'll ask friends what people are like just to get their vibe but I wouldn't expect anybody

Being sneaky and making full access profiles on AOL.

Its mainly the ability to customize the way your home screens look. On the nook you have four or five buttons that are locked there for email, web, etc. You don't have to put up with the carousel either which is basically locked on the nook launcher. Any shortcuts you do make on the nook launcher end up tiny and

Its either Apex or the Nook skinned android. Side comment: it'd be nice if the different profiles had access to google play as well. I want to make a profile for my girlfriend so she can set hers up however she likes, but only the top one has access to google play.. in other words... top profile can have apex

I've had similar experiences when it came to picking out a pair of headphones and monitors for my Recording Engineer classes. A lot of reviews where giving high marks for products like the KRK Rockits or whatever they are. A lot of people who use those are people in the rap/electronica genre. The KRK's add a lot of

My parents have select rooms set up for hard wiring, the main exception being their main living room/main floor.

I was only like this for a house party that my band was playing at which was our first practice/promotional gig kind of thing. My band knows I hate house parties (and now bars for the most part). My girlfriend had to put up with me being super shy for the evening, but she got me to check out the rest of the house

I'm a musician and did the ensemble tour in high school if you will (jazz band, pit orchestra, marching band, etc) and college. I've had two short jobs, one where I was let go and another where I quit mainly because they would of "punished" me if I went to a college interview when I had found out about it on the same

At the moment, around 2-3pm. It still gives me enough time to rest up before our 3 hour band practice and it gives me enough time to wake up/get work done around the house etc. If I didn't have the dogs to walk, I'd just split my walks and do them on the treadmill every few hours. Like a half mile before noon,
