I would agree that a manual would be worth way more on the used market. But I still think that the consumers that are dumping the money on New cars do not want manual.

Lol, good point. I like cars too much to buy new ones when I can get a way more interesting slightly used one for the same price. Yes, I realize the irony here. People like me are what’s actually killing the cars I love.
These newfangled auto-twin clutch-sequential-paddle-shift-for-you transmissions sure do squeeze better performance out of a car, they manage better fuel economy numbers while providing better 0-60 times. That’s progress. And sales numbers probably don’t justify offering a manual transmission. That’s economics.
