So you’re proof that hard work pays off then. I was dumped into the workforce just before that same recession, bought my first house just before the crash. I was smart, though, only spent half of what the bank had approved me for. Had I extended myself as far as the bank would have let me, and bought the house I

Quite the thoughtful response, Bradley. I grew up poor. Started working at 12, busted my ass, made mistakes along the way. I owned my mistakes and learned from them. Now, I’m pretty fucking comfortable.

Skip the booze, scratchers, and smokes for a bit. Back when I was 14 working the grocery store in my podunk town nearly every person paying with WIC checks seemed to have enough cash to buy a couple cartons of smokes, a couple 30 racks, and $20-50 in scratchers at least every week.

Pretty simple, if you’re living paycheck to paycheck, buy a 2-3k dollar used car.

I’m not saying uBlock, but... Well, uBlock. I try not to block all the ads with it, because writers still gotta eat, but the truly obnoxious crap like autoplaying videos and ads that pop in right when you’re about to click elsewhere? Yeah, those disappear.

Money in your bank account doesn’t expire and purchases will show as pending. Did you not read the part where they expired 3 months ago and still showed as available? I don’t know about you, but my bank clears payments in less than 3 months and the also show all pending payments and usually take that away from your

Maybe Seth is dumb for not having a backup credit or debit card, that’s not the issue.

I drive for a living and I don’t live that far back in the woods. Teslas aren’t for everyone so don’t act like a snob . I see hundreds of cars daily .

Agreed.

If Ford was giving out gas cards that said they had $500 on them but turned out to have $0, I’d write that up, too. Tesla makes some fantastic cars, and they also sometimes do shit like this. You as a car enthusiast have a right to know what’s going on. That’s why I’m telling you.

Okay, I get that. I mean, I’ve done that before in broker phases of my life, but I went in knowing shit could become terrible. Still, I don’t think this should distract from the point that you should be able to trust what the app tells you about supercharger miles. I don’t think there’s a way around that.
