S2000's have a lower rev limiter until they hit a certain temperature. They just don’t show it on the dash like this.
This needs to be on every car so when I go to buy the car used, I can be assured the previous owner at least didn’t rev it out cold and during break in.

Didn’t BMW kind of come up with this idea, except it works by limiting the RPMs until the engine reaches optimal operating temperature? This just seems like a logical extension of that.
