It ran into the front of the trailer, is it possible the sensors couldn’t “see” it since it sits relatively high and the landing gear is too far ahead to trip the forward sensors?

I can’t wait for gas to hit $3.50/gallon and all the folks who ran out and bought pickups they could barely afford and fill up a quarter tank at a time will be on Facebook complaining about gas prices and desperate to sell them.
My mom grew up in Germany in the 1970s/1980s. She reminded me every day of how many Beetles she owned (too many to remember them all), how it was cheaper to buy a new one then repair one most of the time, how crappy they were (using a lighter to defrost the windshield, etc) and how she hates them now.
Normally I’d be raging and upset and losing sleep over how the people’s name choice was just arbitrarily changed.
These are atrocious. No excusing it’s ugliness
