@CaptainJack: 30PSI would be underinflating most tires. Most tires have a minimum of 40PSI. Road bike (high end skinny street) tires are typically inflated to 110-130PSI. Urban tires for mountain bikes usually sit around 65PSI minimum.

Gah. I've had a low hanging transformer explode directly above my car while driving in our busy section of town before. Scared the living crap out of me. Everything went white and sparks went everywhere and I miraculously managed to not hit the person in front of me.

@agent31: I appreciate your comment.

@timestep: Presidential order to force Bill Nye back on television is a government action I can get into.

I'm gonna add one more to the million "that's not a Jeep" posts.

@jinlee: Nothing could be worse than calling AT&T for ANY reason. My account has been under the name "Leticia Rodriguez" for a year now. My name is not Leticia. I've been on 11 calls for this reason specifically because I always run into a problem trying to verify my account when I call since I'm not the fucking

@jaan: I don't really believe that it happened just because I expect it to have fragmented but I wouldn't call it busted on this evidence. When they fire, they are looking for it not at the spot where he shot but anywhere which means they expected the bullet to bounce.

The missus sez, "GAAHH!! SPECIAL OPS BUNNIES!? MORE LIKE SPECIAL HOPS BUNNIES!!!"

@beanperry: Our country isn't the responsibility of all those other countries that do business with Foxconn. It's not as if Foxconn only manufactures for the US.

@Sam Biddle: A container can be a dumpster but that doesn't make the container/dumpster a piece of trash. What does it matter anyway? The source says that they are recycled abandoned containers. This use is way better than letting them rot. (Having inspected containers for a living, these are pretty standard

@Agagulba: Yeah, this happened a few months ago. It was all over the news, baby was almost totally unharmed (scratch here, bruise there)

@Agagulba: The baby fell right on the tracks. In the middle. Train passed above him completely.

@GitEm$teveDave: From stuff that I've read, the u-bolts weren't bad, they were just severely overloaded. The workers in charge of raising the structure had some bad math behind the bolt stress estimates.

@GitEm$teveDave: This happened about a mile away from my house. That field is covered in towers.

I refuse to believe that any curved design could possibly be comfortably worn by anyone with prescription lenses.
