@PN - goopplesoft: Wow, dude. Get over yourself. It's just a little yellow star on the internet.

@Xeno: That's what I was thinking. Mine still seems to be the same. Except I've been using Swype for a while and can't really remember the Touch keyboard all that well.

@RandomNickname: It had something to do with the Facebook app syncing in a way that was detrimental to battery life.

@tech-tard: Anytime someone types out BB to me or even if I type it out, I think Bottom Bracket. (bike part)

@Bobby Woods: "Put a freaking case on the thing!" You're missing the point. A well designed product should be durable enough to survive without a case. Especially something that gets handled as much as a phone.

@Kaiser-Machead: I'm with you. Bumpers featured in a keynote? Seriously? They knew.

@sbunny: I miss BBM too. I'm running an Evo now and the things I miss the most are my keyboard, BBM and sound settlings.

@fhall1: That's why I just can't do cases and screen covers. My phones have always been work horses but they've also looked nice, it's a shame to cover that up. The iPhone is a gorgeous but it pretty much demands that you put it in a case.

@Kamalot: Not if they buy the bumper like they're supposed to. <—-lame.

It kind of doesn't look so bad...

@Jason Scott: Did Lifehacker overheat and crash a user's computer in June 2010?

@EvilJ: Resurrected: Exactly what I was thinking. Standard typical Apple user mindset? (Not talking about actual power users or people that find the function over the form in them.)

@elvenangel: He also didn't say it was an iPhone. He said it was a package.

@PsychoSuperman: Damn. Maybe it was just a bag of clothing...? Not that it's an excuse but it might be logical... except he didn't even seem to wait for the truck to be in park before leaping out.

@Xeraphim: Did she get the sandwich right?

@Petey Liu: I agree that it is a problem solved but why did it have to cost you extra? Not only that, it takes a gorgeous handset and uglies it up just because Apple went the form over function route.

@nramos332: I think a person that knowingly did something stupid with their handset would be more likely to tell their lie quietly to a Genius Bar employee rather than trying to get it blasted all over the internet via Gizmodo.

@JakeMG: *high five* I'm guessing Apple new that corner impacts would stand a large chance of shattering the glass. Sell a shit ton of bumpers and you reduce the #s of people claiming their phones are shattering. One set says, "man, my phone shattered" the other says, "mine is totally okay and you guys are just

@negative13: My i5 750 has been shutting down on me randomly during light game play. Come to find out I was pushing it to 81C during gameplay. Ouch.
