Also, the only reason he got involved was because Rachel told Monroe about him. And Monroe kidnapped his child. He was just doing what Rachel has been doing all along - protecting his child - and he wouldn't have had to do it if Rachel hadn't given him up.

Yeah that really bugged me too. It's just such an obvious detail. I just loved the fact that they decided they were deprived of oxygen by noting hallucinations. Most people deprived of oxygen start, you know, feeling SHORT OF BREATH. Maybe start breathing a bit faster? Not "Oh look, I'm seeing things, I guess that means I'm suffocating."
