True but i dont buy my gas there so it is all relative. Cost of living and incomes are proportionate to those places i would wager.

Wasnt good to begin with either.. lol the last gen actually was handsome on the higher trim levels, but those are rarely out in the streets.
I guess i better start phasing out my transportation for new ones i cant afford /s
Yes it looks like shit compared to its competitors, one of which hasnt change the design in over a decade. Next question.
You only reinforce the position that it will hurt the poors with this, in two ways. First, it is still going to be a cost increase across the board to all people. The wealthy wont notice, those of us that live paycheck to paycheck will. Sure, your point that the gas savings will offset that....except that, and this is…
So you are saying that they will DROP the price of 91 octane to match that of 85? That may be what your textbook says, but thats not gonna happen in the real world.
Out west. At elevation, you can run a lower octane fuel so we have 85 as an option. On my Dodge’s 318, it runs on it smooth as silk on the cheap stuff. Alternatively my Tacoma should be able to run 87 at sea level but even where i am at i run 89 to prevent pinging.
Cool story but what about those of us that run cars that are 20yrs old and put 85 octane in today? Why should we have to bear the same cost as those that can afford new vehicles with fancy engines, when we see no benefit?
And totally fucks over us poors who run 85.
I never had anyone to teach me. I am completely self taught. It get easier with time and knowing what resources you DO have. Forums have DIY write ups, youtube videos show you a sweating, balding, overweight man doing the same task, and then there is always just the common sense that you already possess that you can…
Some old country music and a cold one are usually requirements in my garage. I find wrenching to be relaxing and therapeutic, the beer helps with the former.
Condoms
A Toyota truck would’ve been a better choice for all those activities. :)
Hmmm.
nothing is reliable if you are beating the hell out of it off-road.
See i wheel in the west. We have the sun and dust. I can only imagine the mess of your rig and your person after a day on the trail with no protection from either.
That is fantastic! Should i assume thats wheel HP? And why does it start @ 3k RPM? Do you have data for the lower RPMs? One thing i see is the torque dip, which mirrors what i found in my last D4-S engine in the BRZ/FRS.
Its not bad with the manual. Have you found an overlay of the 3.4, 4.0, and 3.5 dyno sheets? i would love to see how they actually compare.
If you wait, it’ll have the 3.5l v6 in the next gen i bet. Some people really dislike that engine. I dont. But mines mated to a 6spd manual. Clearly that wont be an option with the 4runer.
And a Xanax. Wash it down with a couple drinks. Wake me up when we land.
