Diesel engines ended the last ice age.
Diesel engines ended the last ice age.
There are two sides this the coin. Plenty of people buy em, install them, then only use them a couple times a year. We use ours dozens of nights a year which makes the cost much more justified. It gives shade for our dogs in the summer, keeps em dry from the snow and rain in the winter, and we love that we can be…
Hellcat
Yes the first model of the aluminum body F150 with the extended cab exhibited piss poor performance but Ford did redesigned it for the following model year with increased reinforcement and immensely improved the small overlap performance.
Well if you are going full long travel sure. Although i know the MCM kit uses the same LBJ but a much beefier UBJ ( fixed broken lower ball joint on one :)) For those like me who have no need to have a LT rig, we are stuck with OEM units
Oem is the only part to use there. Ive seen even the bolts backing out causing failure. Another difference between aftermarket and OEM LBJ are the aftermarket ones skip the machining process where the 4 bolts line up to the spindle. Side-by-side the difference is substantial.
True but almost always refer to vehicles by the model year, not when they were released by the manufacturer.
Now that fact i won’t argue ;) You just keep my beloved first gens out of this. Got it? Good.
You’re high as a kite. You’re saying the first gen Tacoma (‘04) has the same frame as a second gen Tacoma (‘15)that had some fish plates, and yet we are talking about a third generation( ‘16+) truck from the start. Fact is, you haven’t a clue what you’re talking about.
You obviously have not worked on a 04 or a new one if you think that to be true.
Upgrade to the left foot programming and the truck is 10x better than its automatic counterpart.
No kidding! My 17 Taco makes 90hp more than my 01, and you can feel it.
I walked right in and bought a 17 that was on the lot with the 6spd. Sadly on the used market, no one will buy it.
Yes i was but you caught me. I forgot how old it really is these days....
The new engine in the Tacoma is pretty sweet. Sure the powers all up top but compared to my old Tacoma, the new on is 1/10 of a liter bigger yet makes 90 more hp. 50 more tq all while drinking less fuel.
Amen on your last point.
YOU WAITED 15 WHOLE SECONDS BEFORE HONKING!?!?! That is some Canadian patience for ya.
As someone who grew up above the 47th parallel and recently relocated to the 43rd, i have never once bought snow tires nor needed them. An all season and common sense go a long way. Keeping all seasons on your car with actual tread depth isnt hard preparation in my book.
Toxic fumes, bad weather in a life raft, trapped below deck and burned. Those my thoughts. The impact surely didnt kill them but im sure the resulting heat and toxins would have a pretty terrible effect on their health.
So his facts must be supported, but since you are’t working with facts, you do not need to credit a resourced. Thanks for the clarification.
