That is so beautiful. I never let my BRZ see snow, rarely did it see rain. My next one will be a year-rounder like yours. 124 days of missing my car and counting.

You’ll have bigger problems due to all the cargo falling out the back door and onto the on-ramp....

Neutral: I prefer to buy new, knowing that it isnt the most sound financial decision. That said i intend on trying to find a lightly used when it comes time to get the next car.

Jeeps are built so well they will start consuming a quart of oil every 1,000 miles with only 10k miles on the odo. This causes hard starts and oil starvation issues that the dealerships claim is normal :)

That’s fair. Although when i watched they lady in front of me plow through a couple elementary girls in a LIT and SIGNALED cross walk, i have a hard time imagining she wouldve done that without her face stuffed in her FB feed (i could see it as we were stopped at the light the block up).

Yup. If they drift into my lane, brake at odd intervals, and are delayed taking off from the light, im probably looking over them pretty good to see WTF is causing it. 90% of the time its a damn phone in front of them. Too bad its illegal to have a cell phone jammer in your car. . .

Aggressive tread for an All terrain. They certainly are a hybrid of AT and a snow tire. The big lugs suggest MT too. That snow rating is likely a big reason they run them on their rigs as they can run them year round.

Those are just Goodyear All-Terrains. Not that gnarly in the truck world.

They are labeled on the lot which plant they are built in as well as it being marked in the door jam. We saw a few from their Baja plant on the lot but ours is labeled as a Texas truck through and through! :)

I own two trucks, one built in the NUMMI plant in CA 16 years ago and the other built in San Antonio, TX, this spring. That satisfies my ‘buy america’ metric. Built in American by Americans. The fact they are Toyota Tacomas satisfies my reliable and resale value metric :)

WAIT!? Where was the spotter? It’s not Mr. Magoo swatting at the flies was it?

No kidding. I have been pulled over for 1 mph over the limit by a power tripping cop before. After his condescending lecture about his authority, I asked for the ticket he was threatening me with, so we could go waste the Court’s time like he was wasting mine. Oddly, he wouldn’t put his money where is mouth was....

Well said. The power is there. If you run it through the revs it comes in great, so merging on the interstate is effortless and passing on two lanes isnt bad. But it lacks the low end shove that the previous 3.4l and 4.0l had. We paired it with the 6spd manual to make the most of the power on tap. It is fine for

Amen brother! I own a first generation Tacoma, and it is a true compact truck in my eyes. I just brought home its grandson, a 2017 Tacoma as well and the size difference is vast. It measures in at the size of the original Tundra but without the grunt of the v8. It is sad that we wont see a new compact truck in the

The worst thing you can do is commute in your fun car. Traded the fun car in on a snoozemobile Tacoma as more ‘features’ and comfort would help make the commute more enjoyable. It turns out the commute was boring, not the car.

Yup, the noise was the give away, not the front end pushing wide through the corner.

I am a jealous man. My new plan is to pray they keep making the BRZ for a few more years so i can get new BRZ.

Don’t forget to show up in traffic court slick. BTW, you can smoke your Camels in there.

I am a Toyota fanboy and have a first generation Tacoma as well. Love the old truck, fiugred with the same formula i would love the new ones. I was wrong. It is a very nice and comfortable truck but has no soul.

Oh please. It lost front end grip before the BRZ. I felt it. The others who have driven it felt the same way. Get over it. You guys can go play your number games and jerk off to having xx more power than the next guy. Just leave me alone as i will be tearing up the mountain with a bigger smile than you.
