I felt that the equally large headlamps did at least hark some decades, and in a good way. They’re (the cars in general) a bit too bulbous these days for my taste.

I’m still mad at Bentley for dropping the “almost same size” headlights they had on the first Continental /GT. The uneven ones on newer cars will forever haunt me, even though I tend to like the rest of the car.
