What’s challenging working at the Genius bar at Apple? Seriously.

I interviewed at a major bank a few weeks ago for a system integration position. After I sent them my resume though, they told me I was too entrepreneurial. I laughed. The same bank offered me manager of database marketing 15 years ago.

I have a project with a 20 something and he’s an idiot. His mistakes are amateurish. I’ve worked for larger software houses before and a kid like this wouldn’t have made it a couple of weeks.

The irony to that is that the mother of her boss was probably right too.

Not to detract from the very real possibility he was age-discriminated against, I still have to make a point here —

or even old enough to think?

her boss told her, “You sound just like my mother” during an argument.

Done in one. He sold the use of his name, trademarked, in the space.

That’s how trademarks work. Of course he still “owns his name”, but he can’t use it as a trade name for computer security business anymore, after he (apparently) sold and profited from the sale of that valuable trademark to another owner.

I mean, it has to make money and has to be more than just sustaining. It has to turn a profit, and If it doesn’t then you axe it.

It actually has Marshmallow. I wrote an XDA guide on how to root. It was nearly impossible to attempt but in the end it worked, somewhat. Poor community support. Avoid.

“So many companies do this to themselves.”
