If I’m reading this LotR wiki right, Hammerhand isn’t his last name but a nickname he has because of his reputation for fighting with his fists.

I feel like that name was in the original books. It definitely fits in with several decades worth of terrible fantasy names, though.

“Erotic” and “starring Ben Affleck” should never be in the same sentence.

Yeah, she has a pretty promising resume. As do at least Jason Cahill (Sopranos/Fringe) and Justin Doble (Stranger Things/Into the Badlands).

City of Lost Children, for me, but otherwise, same!

They turned him into an animal! And that’s what he became!!!

Wtf are you talking about?? I dunno what show you’re watching but the revival seasons beginning in 2010 are pretty damn great.

He wants extra money for the beard.

yeah, venture brothers was never revived. I dont think the HBO thing even counts-the series is done, theyre doing one wrap up movie, thats it.

The thing about greatest teevee show of all time, The Simpsons and the lesser, cynical but often hilarious Family Guy is that both of those shows take full advantage of the animation medium by often going in to full blown absurdity. I’m not particularly excited. I thought the previous revival was overall fine, but ultimately unnecessary, save a few gems like The Late Philip J. Fry, but one thing I really did like was the finale they had finally given us in the Comedy Central run, it was far better than the finale of the Beast with a Billion

Jurassic Bark is cheap heat. Luck of the Fryrish is the real waterworks factory.

You didn’t like Lethal Inspection or The Late Philip J Fry?

Frankly, I’m shocked that the reception here has been mostly negative—-even if you didn’t like how the show wound down in the final season(s), its been 9 years, people. Maybe if it was just last year that the last new episode had occurred, I’d be concerned that they were out of ideas, but when nearly a decade has
